To say that the thought process behind the shot was "cryptic" would be a massive understatement.

I looked up and saw the sun behind the tree and noticed the haloing effect. This in turn made me think of a parody song done by YouTube's James@War called Blame Halo 3" (a parody of Akon's Put the Blame on Me ), in which the singer's refrain is that every screwup in his life is because "I was playing HALO 3".

Naturally the expression "I was playing HALO tree" started rattling around in my head, though admittedly it works better if you have an Irish accent. Which I don't. But in theory, I mean.

I took a number of shots but decided on this one because of the one spot of sunlight bursting through the leaves.
