I'm posting this in October and must confess that I don't actually recall being on this photo shoot. It doesn't surprise me that I do indeed have a dawn image of the Wollongong Lighthouse as I know that it's been a subject that I've been planning to do for some time. As it turns out, I already have although I probably wasn't taking it seriously as I might have done, being reduced as I was to relying on the EP 1 for most of my shots.
Not that it's a bad camera; I'm still very fond of it even though I never use it any more with the arrival of the EM-1 but frankly I was quite surprised that it managed a shot as decent as this in such low light. I'd come to have very low expectations of it in low light conditions but I have to admit I'm reasonably happy with this shot.
I was a little bit lucky to get the seagull flying through the air on the right, although admittedly seagulls are not uncommon sight up on Flagstaff Hill.
