I recall that this one was taken toward the end of my taking a photo each and every single day this year. With the 40 D out of service and the Olympus EP 1 being workmanlike but hardly outstanding I knew that something was going to have to give until I made a decision about what to do for the future.

Nonetheless I was still determined to keep up the "one a day" rate for as long as possible. Unfortunately that doesn't always result in the best of all possible pictures and you just go for whatever is available. And that's exactly what happened with this shot.
