It was a dark and stormy lunch time. Well, dark anyway. These seemingly menacing clouds didn't produce very much in the way of rain, much less lightning and thunder. Nonetheless, they provide an imposing backdrop to the one shaft of sunlight that's illuminating some of the buildings on the other side of Darling Harbour.
This would probably look better without the fence in front of it, but I only had the sunlight for a few seconds and couldn't reposition myself. In a recent shot I showed a tractor in this park which was being used to resurface it with a fresh layer of turf. The process had been completed by now (as you can probably guess from the lush greenness), but the park was still fenced off to allow the new turf some growing time.
