The first working day of the year, and it's back to the old routine including waiting for the tram to come along to shuttle me to my final destination.

Technically this isn't a tunnel, it's a very large awning at the front of the station. But the "tunnel vision" analogy still applies. It's possible to get so fixated on the specifics of work, day in, day out that you can start to lose track of the bigger picture in life.

While I'm working on a project that amplifies that at the moment, I do have to remind myself to start looking outside the tunnel more often.
