It may be the power rescue boat training area, but one person has decided to switch the power off for a bit. Not that I can talk; I didn't get to bed until after midnight last night; it's early evening now, and I therefore half dozed while the Word document that I write my commentaries in loaded up. I think it will shortly be time for bed and I'm afraid I'll have to catch up with commenting on the 'morrow.
After a couple of days of still life PADs it would be a travesty to not get out and get at least one outdoor shot for the weekend. The forecast for both days was for thunderstorms from the afternoon but that happened on neither day; both were your standard late summer day. Not hot (though a bit warmer than I'd like), certainly more humid than I'd like, but sunny? Of that there can be no doubt, if you look at the sharpness cast by the sign's shadow.
Incidentally, if you're ever near Austinmer beach I do highly recommend the AustiBeach Café. It lacks the pretentions of a lot of cafes on Sydney's beaches (and charges less as well), but the food is exceptionally good. The grilled chicken linguini was mouth-watering, and then the Donatella gelato, well...
