As I mentioned in yesterday's PAD yesterday was ANZAC day, the day that commemorates the sacrifice of Australians in wartime. I'm a day late getting a photograph relating to that, though the floral wreaths from yesterday's services are still visible.
I was also about half an hour late for this shot as well; I wanted a monument which was spotlit at night. This one isn't, exactly, though a sodium lamp on the road nearby points at it. However dawn had arrived by then.
In fact, I'm running late on a number of things (while catching up on others) including my usual gallery viewing. I expect normal transmission to resume shortly, however, despite the fact that this will be a three day working week into which I have to cram five days' worth of work.
