So what kind of day is it going to be? Bright blue skies? Sunlit, fluffy clouds? Dark, menacing rainclouds?

It turned out to be something of a mixture, though overall this week has had a fair amount of negative juju attached to it.

Well done with the Oly - you've really captured the dynamic range here from clouds that are sunlight to ones carrying rain. Could easily be a snippet from a Great Master. V
