Storms came through yesterday, with some rain persisting through the night and into morning.
The Sydney Harbour First Fleet class ferry Borrowdale is lit up in preparation for her first run of the day, as the lights of other vessels stand out against the grey of the harbour and the clouds. I extended this shot's foreground to include the reflection of Borrowdale's lights on the wet pavement of the waterfront.
It was rather fortunate that I postponed my trip until the later train this morning, as this time of day can offer some useful contrasts when overcast; particularly when there are lights about.
