Normally I catch the train to work. Today, however, the fence near my carport was to be refurbished meaning that I had to move my car. Rather than just leave it on the street I opted to drive in to work. Ordinarily I would have chosen a car park near the office but this afternoon I had to go to a software user group presentation on the other side of the city. I therefore parked in the city around half way between the two, and walked to the office, Olympus in hand, on the prowl for a PAD.
Along the way I noticed a glinting in the warm morning sunshine, down by the water.
Clearly someone had been indulging in a boozy evening the night before. Well, at least a partially boozy evening, since the bottle is still half full.
Equally clearly, while they had the energy to carry the bottle down there, they lacked the energy to find a bin to put it in. Still, it gave me a subject before it was consigned to collection by the garbologists.
(And even more clearly, I'm still using too high an ISO for the Olympus.)
