Yes, I'm "missing" a day after all. Well, it's not really missing, it's on a memory card in a camera that I don't have access to right now and will be along after the Easter break. However since I've been back in Bleak City for most of the weekend and have a couple of cards of images to process (including a new 8 gig card that I bought when I was down there) I decided to post this after all to give me just a little less to do later.

This is in fact less about the subject than about the lighting that I was playing around with in shooting the books. Various angles, various placements of reflectors and the like. In fact, that's really what most of my still life shots are about at the moment.
