OK, it's not exactly "after"; it was sprinkling even when I was out shooting this but it seems unlikely that we'll have any further heavy falls. And it seemed time for something a little brighter than the last couple of shots.
There's a tree just outside my doorway which has white flowers with a yellow centre. Don't ask me what it is, I have no idea. But whenever it rains heavily (as it did last night and to a lesser extent this morning) there's invariably a carpet of the flowers underneath it, just as we see here.

Edit August 2023: OK, thanks to a comment on the photo on PBase I now know what it is; a Frangipani, more correctly known as a Plumeria. We had both yellow and pink ones where I lived, lo those many years ago. Where I live now they are in a couple of places down the road, but none here.
