As with yesterday's shot, this isn't the one that I intended. Unlike yesterday's shot, I got the one that I intended but then decided that this one was better suited to the day.

The advantage of having a public holiday for Australia Day yesterday is obvious. 4 day week!

The disadvantage of it being on a Tuesday is that you then have two days on which to have to get your head back into the working week.

So get back to work, slackers!

The "Note to me" Section:
This is one of my first attempts at a still life if you don't count the occasions when I've been checking my settings before a photo shoot and knocked the shutter release accidentally. The original shot had pretty much the colours and tones that I anticipated / wanted straight out of the camera, and I just whacked on a levels adjustment layer to make the whites brighter. I know some laundry detergent manufacturers who wish they could do that.

I probably should have given the keyboard a bit of a dusting before shooting but my work PC turns 6 this year and has been running pretty much 24/7 since I got it; the (still original) keyboard is hardly going to be pristine after that time.
