The real last revenue flight was the B727 that returned from Tampa later that evening with passengers. That aircraft sat on the ground for a couple of days so it could perform on Saturday and Sunday at the 2002 Air & Sea Show on Ft. Lauderdale beach. The B727 that went to RDU then flew to the desert without passengers.
