The Wando River Highway 17 Bridges in Charleston SC. This image can no longer be
made, so it is posted for the record only. It has no photographic merit, per se. The
old bridges have been torn down, and only the new, modern 8 lane (plus bicycle and
walking lane) masterpiece remains (The Ravenel Bridge). The old bridges were from
early last century. They were rusted, and inadequate. But when they were torn down,
I felt like someone had taken one of my lovely old but working folding cameras,
and stomped on it.
