When one grows up on a farm, having a collection of animals to see and to play with is second nature.
This is how it was for me. My son, and my daughter pictured here, at least had the advantage of visiting their
grandparents who were still on the farm, and having the same experiences as I had, at least for a week or ten days
every now and then. Every child should have the pleasure of seeing farm animals - preferably at
large, or in a pet zoo. Unless they see these wonderful creatures other than in comic strips or on
television, how will they ever know that milk does not come in cartons, nor eggs in boxes.
