Campfire smoke in Flinder's Pound at a bush
camp, Outback South Australia, Easter 1966. Only dirt
and gravel 'tracks' served the area in that era, however,
it was a popular destination for the more intrepid.
Easter (autumn) was a good time to visit.
Pentax S1a SLR with 55mm f2.0 Super Takumar lens.
See it HERE
The Pentax was (is) a great camera. Instant return mirror,
automatic lenses for full aperture viewing, lightweight, and
outstanding sharp lenses. I had a Pentax clip-on-top CDS meter.
