I took this picture without them noticing first. But when I wanted to take a closer shot they didn't let me. Another travel companion in the group had a point-and-shoot camera with him and he didn't have any problems taking pictures of them. They simply refused to have their pictures taken by me since my camera gear looks "big and professional". Oh, well.
