Comet C/2001 Q4. Reported data from TheSky at time of exposure: Distance from Earth: 0.437764 astronomical units (40.7 million miles); Rate: 0.1168 (arc-secs/sec); Magnitude: 1.5;
RA: 08h 38m 40.4s Dec: +21°32'47". I doubt the Magnitude estimate is correct. Image scale 3.97 arc-sec/pixel; Total exposure time (including download) = 2,130 seconds. Comet movement against stars ~ 62 pixels.

Takahashi FS 60-C mounted on LX200, unguided. Subexposures 60 seconds, tracking at sidereal rate, unbinned 1x1. Three sets of 10 exposures each through Astronomik Type II IR-blocked filter, average combined and composited as a trichrome in AA 2.0. False-color inverse to better show the dual tail structure. full exif
