What a beautiful photograph of Hong Kong's neon business lights! I bet it is even more remarkable in-person. There are more lights on this street than the Las Vegas strip. My company is opening a department in Hong Kong, so I might be able to see it for myself.

That's amazing. I sell led signs and neon signs . So, I hear a lot about city zoning and ordinances that limit shopkeepers on how many signs they have have up at once.

Guessing HK and Las Vegas go the other direction...perhaps they regulate how many neon signs a business *must* put up :)

That's amazing. I sell neon signs and led signs , but I hadn't imagined something like this :) Puts Las Vegas to shame. I wonder what the new landowners think of the electric bill.

I left HK many years ago as a child and I have to say that one of my most salient memories of the place is of me wandering the streets at night, squinting my eyes and seeing a fogged up collage of layered neon signs. I know there are cities like Tokyo with even more elaborate, high-tech neon signs but this picture hits home for me : the familiar jewellery stores, sauna houses, Sphagetti House, traffic jam and double decker buses and all... it's a wonderful enlarged microcosm of those other pictures you took of the wideangle skyline (which I'll stick on my desktop hehe). So thanks so much for recreating that scene and allowing me to wander into nostalgic territory. Keep up with the good work!

Firstly, I need to work on 6 out of 7 morning but available every night.
Secondly, the sky is usually clearer at dusk rather than dawn.
Thirdly, I can't predict a dawn is beautiful enough, but I can know 1-2 hours before the sunset.
Fourthly, I don't have a car so I can't go anywhere when the public transport is not awake yet.

Thank you for your visiting. You've reminded me of something, but yet difficult to achieve.

This is not meant as a criticism, bust na observation:
You have many fotos of dusk, but not dawn...
Can't get up early enough to catch the first ray of morning, eh?
:)
Thnak you for sharing your excellent work.
