I met Don Vera at his restaurant in Guayabitos beach, Nayarit , Mexico. He was a sweet man but his sad eyes intrigued me; bussiness was slow that day so we got to talk a bit. He had been married for over 40 years and his wife had past away that Christmas. I asked him if she died of old age and he said, no she died of sorrow after our youngest son died in a motorcicle accident. He still got 11 more children but they live all over Mexico , USA and Europe. I managed to snap a few shots of this wonderful fellow.
