Just in case anyone is wondering by now, I'm 5' 10" at approx. 185 lbs.
The space between the top of the helmet and the targa top reinforcement is approximately 2" inches.

To gain approximately .5" to .75" inches of additional headroom, I can replace the bottom seat-cushion with one a little less padded.
