I am James David Duke(ddbearman@gmail.com). I wasTiger Flight at Korat from Sept. 1969-Sept. 1970. I was a Buck Sgt. and would run coffee around the perimeter to the bunkers and dog handlers in my Gun Jeep! Had some good times and some bad times, but I wouldn’t take nothing for my time there. Made contact with Joe Carlotta a few months ago, he is in Calif. and working for the VA. I got out in 1970 when I left Korat, but went into the AF Reserves in 76 and retired in 2003 as a CMSgt. Retired from NS Railroad in 2006 after 34 years as a road conductor. Just wanted to say hello to the best bunch I was ever around!

Jack Sarles sarles1301@gmail.com. K9/LE 74-75. Came to Korat from Ubon, then went to Utapao with Jim Bennett and Mike Thomas in 75. Stayed at Ut until we closed in June 76. John T. Helton, from Takhli? Talked to Fabian Liendo 3-4 years ago on phone. And no Fabian did not write me up. He was early dog flight chief and I was late dog flight chief so we did not work together. Also talked to Dave Kaltenbach about a dozen years ago.

I am Tsgt John T. Helton USAF Ret. I was a MWD Handler/Posting NCO at Korat from Oct 74-76. I remember you Bennett. I remember Liendo too, he wrote me up for a 35-10 violation. Didn't we run into each other at the war games in Fla in 78? Yea the over-run lights was close to the town gate, had the Pit Vipers on it cause of the Klong running thru.

My name is Jim Bennett. I was at Korat in 1974-1975. I was also one of the 10 handers that got transferred to Utapao in 1975 due to their shortage of handlers. Although many names escape me I remember only 1 SSGT Liendo who worte me up after I challenged the round in the chamber while on post, after he told me I couldnt, and it was found that the kennels had not gotten the PACAF Supplement, so none of us were aware of this change, oh yeah, good times especially guarding the approach lights ouside the perimeter and watching the party bus return from Korat City every night. and of course the SP Hotel.

I am Bill Bowlan and was in Photo at Korat in 69-70. Our hootch was next to the dog handlers hootch and we worked with the handlers when they needed photos.. Anyone recall a Thai interpreter, employed by the 388th Security Police Sq? We used him mostly on Town Patrol. His American name was "Ed Kirmadee", my Thai spelling is lousy. I am trying to locate any 388th Security Police Sq., who where members of Korat Town Patrol. I was with the 219th MP Co. I have photos of our small unit to share. My email is mack219@aol.com.

I am Wayne Mcallister. Served at Korat AB from Dec. 73-74. My dog was Lobo, don't recall his brand #. Knew a bunch of guys, Richard Blackmore, John Thomas, Gregg Stoefull, Gary Frederick just to name a few. Would be great to hear from some of you guys, as well as others. Take care.

My name is George Clay. I go by Eddie. I am currently serving in afghanistan on my 2nd combat deployment, (Iraq was the 1st) with C/1/108th CAV (RSTA) as an infantryman. While getting some much needed MWR time at the FOB I decided to do a search for my father's name. It was a great surprise to see the pictures of some orders to his deployment in Thailand come up. Dannie Clay is my father and I am unsure if he knows about this site. I will let him know about it the next time that I call home. I know that he has many pictures of Thailand and I do remember scanning some for him a few years back.

I was in C.E.S. while in Korat in 74-75. I got called back to my hooch one day because someone had a dog that was attacking my locker. When I opened my locker the dog went for a coffee can. My mom had sent me home made chocolate chip cookies. It turned out the dog loved them. The Sgt. told me it was the only thing that dog would hit on besides drugs. I gave out three cookies that day (a rare teat) one to the dog and the two Sgt.'s shaking down my room. Does anyone remember the dog that craved chocolate chip cookies & the handler?

My name is Don H LLoyd, I handled Buck V031 after Danny Clay...and I have been looking for the Headhunter Patch forever, and I found it thanks to Danny...I dont believe I knew Danny, but I am sure that we did meet. Sorry for not remembering. Buck was one of the best dogs I ever handled while in the Air Force.
