One of the best

AnnLT just got herself a Rolleiflex 2.8D. I commented on how much better than mine hers looked and she asked to see a photo of my old 3.5, so I shot it tonight. Mine is not as nice as the 2.8D was, but it is still a nice old camera. Mine was sometime in the early 50's. I think Rolleiflexes were probably the best TLRs made.

I lit this photo by using the overhead room lights then used my little LED flashlight for a spot to hit the upper lens on the camera.

I see you got a couple of rolls of film there. How about loading one in,huh? huh?

btw,I really like that leather strap you've got there.
Mine didn't come with a strap. I bought an Op/Tech strap (doesn't look very retro but they say it lightens the weight by 50%).

Nicely lit, Harrison. ;-) This is a nice 'un, too.

The 3.5 Zeiss Tessar was a standard bearer for many years, and of course the Tessar construction has been copied many times over. Although the bigger 2.8 aperture was sought after then because of the slower films speeds, today, with super sharp 400s available in MF, there is no real penalty. f8 and be there.
