This is my favorite improved variety of Red Maple. Acer
rubrum 'Franksred' (Red Sunset Maple) has such out-
standing color. A real standout in any fall mixture.

What a GLORIOUS tree, Scott! (It's Lori, BTW:)) I think I'm going to have to beg my dad to plant one of these beauties; I LOVE FALL. Thanks SO much for sharing, so I know what our backyard is missing! :D Beautiful composition, colors, everything works so well - the second photo looks almost like a watercolored background. Lovely.
