American Dream on Hold

Riverwalk Subdivision (Nashville, TN)

This is my sister's neighborhood west of Bellevue. It sits between Newsome's Station Road and the Harpeth River. These home back up to the river although they were built above the 100 year flood plain. You can see the view behind these homes and the rock/land slide that closed the highway across the river in this EXTRA LARGE panorama added today...

The dream has become a nightmare for now. I hope dealing with the authorities and insurance is better for these people than it was here for those affected by the wildfires in 2003 and 2007.
