This is a noisy, poor image I took in the rain with a Canon 20D at ISO 1600 back in 2005. I was in Rwanda, standing only a few feet from these mountain gorillas (it's only a 24-70mm lens). In spite of the poor quality, the look in the mother's eyes and the infant huddled up against her make this my most powerful image.
