Born under fire

Jajce hospital

These twin girls were born in the basement of the Jajce hospital because the upper floors were often attacked by the Serbs firing accurate BST rocket launchers. The father was several hundred meters away on the front line and he came several times to see his family that day.

With the father facing fighting and coming in to see his family. It shows what some men fight for in war. Not that war is an answer. For some, it must seem to be the only way forward. How very unfortunate, albeit real.

I know the difference between a BST and a mortar. Were you there? Or are you some 13 year old kid in Sydney?

BST is not accurate, it is like a mortar
