Is this it?

Nova Bila, Bosnia

There was a lot of speculation about whether the Armija would try to take the Lashva Valley. They had Travnik and their lines came all the way down to the British camp at Nova Bila. They also had pockets in Vitez. These kids were certainly wondering if they were about to see a major Muslim advance on their town. Earlier I'd been the interpretor for an interview with a general in Travnik and the British reporter had asked him if they planned to take the valley. He answered no, they only wanted to make sure that certain war criminals did not escape. Dario Kordic was certainly the main one they wanted, and they got him.

Kordic isn't a hero in Croatia. Most Croatians are ashamed of him and those like him.

Not in our name.

Those are shotguns, not hunting rifles. These two were not old enough to be in the Army and they were told to stay at the fallback position. The kid on the left is moving the cows into the barn. So these kids were being kept out of the combat zone, although the zone could have very easily come to them. The Armija wasn't actively hunting war criminals, only trying to keep them from escaping from the Lashva Valley. The arresting was done by either the UN or NATO.

with hunting rifles instead of real combat weapon... how many of kids like this got killed while alija's army was trying to catch war criminals?
