I am now sitting here in Denmark with Bill Pooley having a beer. Yes, this was me at Delta Park in 1982 (not 1981). I had to abandon the race that day because I cramped up. I had just arrived in the US the day before after the flight from Denmark. Look at the crazy hair net helmet I was wearing.

That is Palle Rosendahl from Denmark at Delta Park in 1981. Palle came over here in 1973 and 1981 to stay with me and race on both road and track. I met Palle in 1971 when I spent the entire season racing in Denmark. Palle is still actively racing today and has had podium finishes in the Danish National Championships on both road and track in his masters age group. I last rode with Palle in 2008 in Denmark. I could barely hang on his wheel where he could still average 23mph alone out front. I believe it is Glenn Sanders following in the photo. - Bill Pooley

I'd say this is Delta Park/PIR--The rider behind looks like Paul Robiinson to me, 1983?
