As a former athlete I've looked at lots of awards, but the ivory carvings awarded at a wrestling tournament in Kotzebue are the best I've ever seen. Better than what you get at the Olympics, in my opinion. A local artist was hired to carve wrestlers on slices of walrus tusk. Really special.
