14-JUN-2017

3:09 AM swings by and mostly goes to the next hour unnoticed.
Doctors instructions and nurse introductions scramble across a white board.
The sound of artificial life clicks, tones, or wheezes into pumps.
Looking up the clock ticks again moving even slower than the passing of the last second.
Praying for more hours, but fewer seconds….
but the clock only delivers another small artificial tick coming
so slowly that when it does it is almost imperceptible.
Thank you for this second!
Tick!
Thank you for gifted minds and hands!
Tick!
Thank you for people who care enough!
Tick!
Be brave enough to breathe the next breath.
Tick!
No matter what!
Tick!
I do it for you!
Tick!
And you do it for me!
Tick!

That's deep. I never thought of it like that. Nice image for it.

A thoughtful and somewhat grim philosophy. Well said and shown.

strong evocation of a bleary-eyed moment, with a hint of distress...strange what life can throw up at times..

Nicely observed with rich textures.
