10th September

I dodged the security at the airport to get a few plane pics ;-)

nah, we dont even have an airport here, just a field and nice old man who knows his stuff
about the various planes and microlites etc
who sits and watches them while the owners go and explore the Unexplored Isle :-)

That red Microlite cost £33,000!
(just after i walked back up the field to the road, another plane came and landed, doh!)

Nikon D50
1/800s f/8.0 at 26.0mm full exif

other sizes: small medium large auto

I could buy 7 Canon 1DS Mark II's for that and still have change to buy an Airfix kit!

There is a microlight school near me but I am too chiken to try. Rather spend the money on a new camera!

You would get some superb aerial pictures in a microlight. Now there's a thought!

We saw a microlight at Leeds Castle today - flying in formation behind it were half a dozen geese, amazing sight! Can't believe they are that expensive, I learn something new everyday at Pbase! :o)

You could get a lot of air miles for £33K
Jim Ross10-Sep-2006 16:51
