fell to a man at the battle of Falkirk, 22nd July 1298,
You fought for Wallace on Falkirk's field
John Stewart's men with sword and shield
but O'erpow'rd, thus! your fate was sealed for freedom fell.

Was told about the monument on the Island by my cousin and at last I have seen it. I am sitting here in the heat in Brasil with a tear in my eye looking at your photo´s. I always have a weekly look when I am homesick.
