I spent 2 hours on the harbour today,
ah the joys of being a jobless bum eh? :-/
anyway the reason i was there so long was because there was lots going on!
MV Bute was in again training,
it was good to see our ticket money going towards hiring a coach and driver from a small bus firm
to drive on and off the ferry for testing the ramp and not going into the pockets of fatcats.
The Waverley also came in, as well as DRUM(Simon Le Bon-tastic)
there was also a nice shiny new yellow tug in too
and of course there was the big move round when the normal ferries came in and out,
everyone having to move up or squeeze into small gaps to make space,
they all seemed to come in around the same time so as soon as they got them all in place
it was time for them to move up for the ferry coming in heheh
anyway to save you from having another ferry pic today
i nipped out earlier this evening,
didn't go far, just into town and took a pic of one of our smaller humps...
which were put there as part of the building of the seawall.
