I agree with Mr Audi. As a "regular" visitor I didn't think this area was needing revamped. Other "cosmetic" make-overs could have been done to brighten up the area around Guildford Square. It is also bad timing if it is not finished for the Jazz weekend.
I was chatting to the owner of the B&B I stayed in at the weekend and he's not happy about the money that's being spent here (this is a native islander). And seeing the island this weekend reinforces my own view there are without question other areas that would benefit from that kind of investment. Nuts, just nuts.
