2nd February

With the recent weather Kames Bay has become a 'pocket' for litter washing ashore,
This afternoon Sandra/Beachwatch with the help of 2 guys from the council
and a JCB kindly donated for the afternoon by Ardmaleish Boatyard made a start of clearing it.

They'll be back there tomorrow morning to continue,
volunteers will be more than welcome, bring your own shovel! ;-)

Volunteers made up most of the cleanup crews after Katrina. I say hooray for them.

I agree with Jenny, and hope the litter bugs feel guilty. Dropped at sea or on the beach they are all resposible. The seaweed is the only part of the mess that nature created.
