another year gone,
I didn't think i would make it through this one, it's getting quite tough now!

Personal highlights of the year was getting an unexpected trip out to the layed-up Maersk ships,
spending the day with the Help for Heroes Bikers and the Baird of Bute Weekend to name but a few,
I hope next year is just as busy!

Dear Zak, I have followed your daily pics since I gave the tip to the danish newspaper about the Mearsk ships placed in the lovely waters around Isle of Bute. (Hope you have been well paid). My reason to be interested and love your lovely island is the fact I have visit the island three times to the Jazz festival, and me and my wife was so keen to the island, that we married there in 2006, having the landlord from The Glue Pot to blow the backpipe when we entered and leave the nice wedding room at the serpentine. You do a splendid job with your pics and I wish you a happy New Year, and look forward to many good shots in the future. All the best Peter the Dane

You are a young Guy Zak, and you need to do what you need to do. I always visit regularly because I feel that you have captured the Vibe, but i have always thought that you may need to explore the larger field. I bet you have loads of Fans who prefer to lurk. good luck

A great summary of the year, and I remember mentioning I had gone to weekly review of the pics, but this year was so good I soon went back to daily. The pace of change is amazing now. All the best for the New Year - and many thanks for the past one :-)
