Flag was at half mast to mark the passing of James Moore a former chairman of Waverley Steam Navigation Company. Did you also see the signal flags forward of the front mast spelling JMCF obviously a reference to Jim MacFadzean

64 years sice I saw that wake last and it was a better day then.Still remember being taken below to see the engines.

Jim was an icon aboard Waverley, he will be greatly missed. Thanks for the on board pics Zak. Why was the ensign at half mast?
