G-CEWS according to Google is a Zenith STOL CH701. STOL is Short Take Off and Landing.
Note the extra spoilers on the leading and trailing edges of the wing.Based in Oban.
I stand to be corrected on this,nice way to see the scenery though.

No idea when it comes to the legal part but during the summer there's usually a few that land either on the beach or in a field just behind the tearoom...

That's the second wee plane I've seen dropping in at Alec's. Daft question, but are planes allowed to land on the beach?

I know passenger 'planes land on a beach on Barra, but that's a lot flatter than Ettrick.
