29th March

I realised last night just before logging off
that yesterdays pic marked a whole 5 years of Daily Bute,
that's 5 whole years of my life i'm never going to get back!!
here's somewhere different to start year 6... ;-)

Dont go back and look at year 1 please,
most of the pics are really embarrassingly bad,
infact i'm thinking of deleting the worse ones heheh

Keep going Zak. Your pics helped us to make up our minds to move here!

Great work Zak - your daily photo diary is eagerly viewed every evening by myself and the kids. Another 5 years (at least!) please.

Sorry, Zak.

Congratulations on the 5 years, some great shots in there Zac.

I don't think there is a tearoom at ardencraig but it is always worth visiting as the plants are lovely

I'm waaaay older than you and my photo taking ability is just as bad as ever. The photos that you regard as poor, well, we ordinary amateurs aspire to be this "bad" Keep taking your fantastic photos and LEAVE THEM ALONE, if you delete Coworker, you'll have me to answer to. Keep up your excellent work, you are providing a wonderful collection of historically valuable images, I wish I hade done this for my town. Congratulations! (and thank you.)

Congratulations Zak. You shouldn't delete the old ones. It's a bit like a diary and sometimes it good to look back and remind yourself.

It's not how bad they were that matters, it's how much you've improved and how good you've become! Congratulations on a great achievement!

Well you know of course we're ALL going to go back now & see just how bad they were!!! ;O) Great work Zak!

5 years on, and some of us still appreciate what we see, and think year 1 is no less good or important to be able to see.
Bute beats the big city suburbs, where trying to do a PaD becomes depressing after a few months. I know. I tried. I gave up. 5 weeks fills the album with unchanging views.
Roll on year 6 :-))

You can't delete any, it's historic don't you know? :o)

Well done Zak, you deserve a medal.

5 years, that's impressive. In 100 years time it could be an important time capsule.
Zak29-Mar-2009 19:08
no idea, I was only there for a few minutes!
Guest 29-Mar-2009 18:54
Well done Zak, 5 years not out. Keep it up. I haven't been to ardencraig since it was upgraded. Is the tearoom still there?

I DID go back and have a look at March/April 05 - Co-worker, Jupiter, Safeway Lorries, LOTI are all there - all excellent and very much worth keeping.

At least you can see how you've progressed over that time, so don't delete 'em!
Nice colourful pic to mark the occasion.
Congrats and welcome to year 6!

Five years. OMG we have been on the same length of time. Huge congrats to you Zak. You also ought to get extra point since you post multiple shots each day. Your documentation of life in Bute is a real archive.
