I enjoy this layered composition, from the soft blue sky, the red clay roofs above bright white homes, the pretty grove of fruit trees and in the middle of the rich earth---a scarecrow! I think that I see nets to keep the birds from taking fruit---berries of some sort, perhaps? Indeed it is a very peaceful scene.
