The time of year...

Hardenbergia is an Australian wildflower that grows naturally in our area, it is
their time of year to begin flowering, and here's one of the first for the year.
We have a white one too and that has started - but today is too windy to photograph them.

A very early sign of spring! Brings back memories from living near Bendigo in Victoria decades ago; Hardenbergia was quite common there and a wonderful seasonal feature.
