Maned Duck in our tree

Chenonetta jubata

Each year a pair of ducks nest in our ancient tree
and they were very concerned about me and the camera
I thought at first they had a young duckling already
and were performing for me because of the duckling
but I couldn't find the little fellow anywhere.

All 3 are oil paintings

Here's a photo of a naughty Flossie who was sitting on the wood heap
while I photographed the ducks

and an altercation amongst the galahs

Gorgeous shots, all three. We have a tree nesting Wood Duck here, but very different from your species! V

Neat bird, a little different from the Wood Ducks we get here in Texas. Nice shot!
