Wildlife in the garden

One of the joys of living away from suburbia is the chance meetings we have with
the wildlife...in this case a young koala nestled high up in a eucalyptus (gum) tree.
This one has been in our garden since Sunday when our youngest grandchild spotted
him in a different tree, and I took photos then, but the lighting wasn't quite
right. This time he's hiding behind a branch, but the lighting is much better.

Here's another photo taken with the same lens, a little native violet growing in
a hanging basket. I have to watch this little plant, it likes a LOT of water &
soon droops if its forgotten. This image is featured in the "other" Challenge.
