These iris haven't flowered for a few years, it took our lovely spring rains to bring this
about. When processing I discovered the bloom has a heap of ants crawling over it!
I believe this is Iris pseudacorus - aka Yellow Flag.

We have several varieties of iris...here is one of the last of our Dutch iris. I started the month's Scavenger Hunt with a BLUE one.


The next lot of iris to bloom will be the bearded, we have heaps of those lining the
paths in the rose garden.
