Built in 1866. An attractive all-stone structure, it is recognised as being the first bridge to be constructed over the Sturt River. It is still very much in use carrying considerable traffic every day. Named after Nathan Horner who carried out a number of public works.
i like the first two horners bridge, and the sturt river quite a lot. that sun dappled light is beautiful. one of the 'horners' came up on the random photos page, and had almost an old photo quality to it that caught my eye, like looking at a photo from the 20's transferred to colored film. thanks for the gallery.. denise
