This room, the "Infinity Room", impresses me the most. If Alex was just a master of visual effect, then the vanishing point of this room is the ultimate visual effect. It also has a very nice view of the natural landscape below, and was truly an impressive feat of engineering when it opened in 1985. Though there are many fake, replica, and reproduction things at HOTR, this is not one of them. It is truly original, unique, and impressive, and 100 percent authentic and real. As such, it is unquestionably my favorite part of the attraction.

The original house design is inspired by Japanese architecture. Alex Jordan Sr. actually came up with the idea and showed a design to Frank Lloyd Wright, who told Alex that he wouldn't hire him to design a crate or a chicken coop. Alex Sr. was angry and, while driving past Deer Stand Rock, told his friend that he would build a Japanese house on top of that rock (and open it for tours to get even with Wright.) Alex Jr. actually began the building of the house.
