Whorehouse? Whorehouse! Outrageous. Please, good sirs and madames-this is Jim Morrison's bedroom. Er.. bordello...oh-wait. Forget it. It would make a fine honeymoon suite, if one doesn't particularly mind a little claustrophobia.

I'm sorry, I stand corrected; Alex Jordan probably intended it that way, as a B&W picture exists of Alex looking at the Reproduco in the shop when it was more-or-less original; just the vibraphone/chrysoglott had been added as well as the false pipe top (both are on it now and visible in this photo). It would probably then be the spirit of workers/designers from the Operators Piano Co., saying to please don't desecrate our poor instrument by making it a non-functioning prop in some bogus display. Besides, I've never heard of a Reproduco used in a whorehouse; most were used in theatres.

maybe it's the spirit of Alex Jordan trying to tell us to unhang all of that drums and guitar crap and turn the Reproduco back into a Reproduco. That bed sure looks comfortable.

what i found disterbing is that he has a mirror above his bed, what dose he do with that, and that glow might have been a reflection from the mirror from either your flash or the lights in the room

On my first trip to the House on the Rock, I took so many pictures. [And in fact, some are quite similar to yours, nearly identical compositions. Wow!] But anyways, when I took a photo of this room, I noticed a peculiar, glowing bubble near the bed. Some said it's probably a strange lens flair and other internet sources suggest that it's a ghost materializing in an "orb form". I'm not sure if I believe that, but weird, isn't it?
