Angels in Paradise ...

Terrebonne, Québec

This was one of my early digital pictures. Beside a B&W conversion, this image is as it was shot. Taken with a point and shoot camera (high end mind you lol), the Sony DSC-F707 had a nightshot mode where you could in infrared like mode. I did use an Infrared filter (Hoya R72) and I was handheld. I got close to the scene, shot a few times and was amazed with the very dreamy result. This is not a staged shot, the teen girls were playing on the shore without knowing I was taking pictures, this gives a very natural aspect for this image. I love everything about this picture, the subjects, the reflections in the water, the trees framing the shot, the colors (or absence of) another Magical moment ...

Bravo !

Hi Yves,

After seeing this image of yours, I simply had to respond - it is fabulous. Ethereal, airy, and timeless. I hope you have a framed copy on a wall somewhere!

I have been an active reader in the dpreview (Nikon) forums for years, and have always admired your work. Thanks for sharing your talent with so many.

Best regards,
Tom Heim (Tom Marshall at dpreview)
